Précontraint material combining lightness and strength

Present on every continent, the Serge Ferrari Group has a sales and marketing strategy with a neighbourhood feel for all its players – whether specifiers, distributors, transformers, or end-users.

In 1973, Serge Ferrari® invented Précontraint®. He created a material combining lightness and strength, thereby developing a weight performance ratio that has become the market reference and has opened the door to many new applications.

What exactly is a Ferrari Précontraint® coated fabric?
During the coating process the fabric is under constant tension in both the warp and weft direction. This remains constant throughout the entire manufacturing process.

The coating is made of a high performance polymer surface layer which has a constant thickness over the top yarns and is also thicker than conventional coatings due to the base cloth lay flat qualities.
