For this reason, Bayer pursues a strict zero-tolerance strategy in order to protect farmers, consumers and its own capacity for innovation.
Our Solution
Bayer protects seeds and crop protection products with a combined physical and digital security strategy. Millions of original products are equipped with a TRUSTSEAL® security label that combines a unique QR code with a forgery-proof hologram.
Each security label can be scanned with the Bayer Seal Scan App. After scanning, the user immediately receives feedback on the authenticity of the product. If authenticity cannot be clearly confirmed, the user is warned that the product may not be original and can contact Bayer directly via the app. For bottled products, an intact security label also confirms that the bottle was originally sealed by Bayer.
