KURZ will be exhibiting at Labelexpo Europe 2025, taking place from 16 to 19 September at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. Visit Booth 3D73 in Hall 3 to explore their full spectrum of label embellishment solutions, live demonstrations and sustainable finishing innovations.
Under the motto “re:think what’s possible”, KURZ will showcase system solutions that guide customers from design and pre-press through efficient production to striking label finishing at the point of sale. Their end-to-end approach integrates creative, economic and sustainable technologies tailored for modern label requirements.
Digital design & 3D prototyping with DREAMCOMPOSER®
A core highlight at their stand is DREAMCOMPOSER®, which is KURZ’s intuitive software that converts PDF label designs into realistic 3D models with full-layer finishing visualisation. This tool enables rapid feedback, live coordination and verified prototypes in just minutes. Attendees will see prototypes come to life via live demonstrations using KURZ’s DM-UNILINER 3D and a machine from MPRINT, KURZ’s subsidiary.
Innovative transfer products: SILVER LINE® & LUMAFIN®
Visitors will experience the latest in transfer finishing technology with KURZ’s SILVER LINE® and LUMAFIN® product lines.
- SILVER LINE® delivers metallic elegance, 3D effects and reflective finishes, which is ideal for premium branding.
- LUMAFIN® offers semi-transparent, shimmering effects that create visual depth and tactile intrigue, suitable for labels from cosmetics to beverages.
These finishes are compatible with hot stamping, cold transfer and digital workflows – even on ultra-thin substrates of 6–10 µm – supporting sustainable, resource-efficient label design.

Slim technology & circular economy initiatives
KURZ will also introduce their latest slim technology at the trade show. This advances label finishing by using minimal PET carrier material and optimised coating layers without sacrificing gloss or quality. Products such as KPW XU slim and ECOFIN® CWO slim are central to this sustainability drive, delivering longer running lengths, reduced waste and lower CO₂ emissions. The system adheres to a “no affinity foil, transfer only” philosophy, where the PET carrier is fully removed during application.
KURZ subsidiary Hinderer + Mühlich (H+M) will present high-precision embossing dies made of recyclable brass, engineered to maintain performance with reduced material use. These dies support consistent embossing quality within slim finishing systems.
The company’s broader RECOSYS® 2.0 take-back and recycling system promotes a genuine circular economy by reclaiming used carrier materials from select hot stamping products – a cornerstone of KURZ’s sustainability strategy.
