Traditionally, transfer products have used PET films with a thickness of 12 microns(μm) for hot stamping applications. However, through technological advancements and innovative processes, we have successfully reduced the thickness to 10μm for hot stamping and an astonishing 6μm for cold transfer.
This reduction in PET thickness offers a multitude of benefits, not only for the environment but also for our customers and end-users.

- More performant: Despite the reduction in thickness, these transfer products maintain the same level of performance and quality that customers have come to expect from KURZ. The thinner PET films offer excellent adhesion, durability, and resistance to wear and tear, ensuring that these transfer products deliver outstanding results in a wide range of applications.
- Lower CO2 Footprint: One of the most significant advantages of reducing PET thickness is the resulting decrease in carbon emissions. Thinner PET films require less energy and resources to produce, leading to a lower carbon footprint throughout the manufacturing process.
