Synchron Markings has launched the Serge Ferrari Soltis Touch into the South African market. A dual-woven, linen-looking fabric has been in high demand over the years, making this a very exciting time for the market. Serge Ferrari listened to the feedback received from the market and created a stunning product. This material offers the user a beautiful finish and hard-working qualities that battle heat and glare, making it the ideal finishing touch for the environment.
The Soltis Touch fabric has a unique weave that mixes several materials and colours to provide a distinctly natural impression. The Soltis Touch manipulates light, producing chromatic effects and interplaying transparencies designed to give your interior personality. Solar protection becomes an essential part of your interior design.

Synchron has done a few local installations. However, we would like to highlight one application in particular, which was installed in a beach-front home in Clifton, Cape Town. This home needed a very hard-working fabric to ensure the double glare (sea & sky) remained controlled whilst meeting the aesthetic standards of the homeowner.
Soltis Touch has a 40% acoustic property that reduces reverberation (echo). Where there are open spaces, tiles, hard surfaces and glass, this is very helpful. This is also very advantageous for businesses like offices and restaurants.

The Soltis Touch has varied openness factors; Synchron has launched the 5% – allowing the user to retain a daytime view while allowing for nighttime privacy. Having included the Soltis Touch in the Soltis range, Synchron now offers the market a complete package with indoor and outdoor products with various weave styles and colours.
The retractable awnings on this lovely Clifton home were also powered by the Soltis Perform 92, providing privacy and solar protection when enjoying the pool area. Knowing where to use various materials will help to make the homeowner comfortable and maintain the home’s aesthetic appeal. AC screens & Shutters performed the installation.
